Smith had a triple-double that led his team to a 94-73 road win at VEF Riga.

Smith racked up an index rating of 41 comprised of 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals and 6 drawn fouls.

It was only the fifth triple-double ever in Eurocup competition.

Khalif Wyatt has signed a one-year deal with Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association.

Wyatt, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Temple, played with the Philadelphia 76ers in training camp.

Wyatt appeared in four of the Sixers' seven preseason games.

Nik Caner-Medley has been named Euroleague MVP for Regular Season Week 2.

Caner-Medley had a career-high 20 points and 10 rebounds in Unicaja Malaga's 101-68 win over Stelmet Zielona Gora.

Caner-Medley played fewer than 20 minutes in the blowout win.

Mouphtaoua Yarou of Radnicki Kragujevac has been named Eurocup MVP of Week 2.

Yarou emerged as the player on a winning team with the highest index rating of the week, 41. Yarou had 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and six fouls drawn in Radnicki's 92-89 home win over Bisons Loimaa.

Nikola Mirotic of Real Madrid has been named Euroleague MVP for Regular Season Game 1.

Mirotic had 18 points on near-perfect shooting as Real Madrid defeated Zalgiris Kaunas 83-63.

Mirotic downed 3-of-4 three-pointers and also collected five rebounds, two steals and a block as part of his performance index rating of 27, which was the most among all players on winning teams in any of the week’s 12 games.

The Chicago Bulls own the draft rights to Mirotic.

Linas Kleiza signed with Fenerbahce Ulker in the offseason, returning to Europe after a four-year deal with the Toronto Raptors.

Kleiza said he has no interest in returning to the NBA after being amnestied by the Toronto Raptors in July.

Kleiza also talked about how there are only a few teams in the NBA that can win a championship.

Sebastian Telfair has reached a deal with Tianjin of China.

Telfair can return to the NBA in February.

Telfair finished last season with the Toronto Raptors.

Stephon Marbury has signed a three-year deal with the Beijing Ducks of China.

Marbury has been with the Ducks since 2011 and previously played for two other Chinese teams.

Marbury's contract runs through 2017.

The Minnesota Timberwolves lost to CSKA Moscow in a preseason game on Monday, 108-106, marking the third time a European club defeated an NBA team in North America.

The game went to overtime after CSKA Moscow led 53-50 at halftime.

Milos Teodosic led CSKA Moscow with 26 points and nine rebounds off the bench.

CSKA Moscow also boasted former NBA players such as Nenad Krstic, Jeremy Pargo and Victor Khryapa.

Shelden Williams has agreed to a deal with the Tianjin Gold Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to a source.

Williams played six seasons with seven NBA teams but did not play last season.

Williams was the fifth overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft out of Duke University.
