Just call him point-a-minute Zydrunas. The only problem is he can't play anywhere near 48 minutes.

Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, in his second game back after sitting out nearly a year with yet another foot problem, scored 19 points in 18 minutes last night. But the Cavs weren't too hot during the other 30 minutes and fell to New Jersey 96-84 at Continental Airlines Arena.

In his two outings, Ilgauskas has scored 30 points in 34 minutes. That's a pace that's Jordanesque, right?

``Slow down, partner,'' said Cavs guard Wesley Person, trying to make sure Z mania doesn't get too much out of control.

If Ilgauskas could play more minutes, it might get out of control. But the health of his foot is such a concern that Cavs coach John Lucas can't now use him now for more than 24 per game.

During Ilgauskas' three stints, the Cavs (7-12) outscored the Nets 35-31. When there were no players from Lithuania on the floor, the Nets (12-6) outscored the Cavs 65-49.

``He's doing a lot for 19 minutes,'' Lucas said. ``He was one real positive.''
