More people crammed into Target Center Monday for a Timberwolves game than ever before. More basketball diehards, casual fans and plain old scene-makers packed the place way beyond capacity to be there for the Wolves' 105-101 victory over Michael Jordan and oh-yeah-the-rest-of-the Washington Wizards.

Which means there are 20,320 potential liars loose on the streets of the Twin Cities this morning.

The game didn't live up to the expectations, and neither did Jordan. It was workmanlike, it was flat, it sorely was lacking in 'SportsCenter' appeal. Jordan again played part of a game like a legend, with 14 points in the second quarter. But he was 2-for-15 after halftime, almost benign down the stretch in a game that was more close than tense.
