Jerry Brewer of the Orlando Sentinel reports: For Grant Hill's left ankle, it's not soreness anymore, it's tendinitis.

Orlando Magic Physical Therapist Vinny Hudson said that it was something that the magic thought would happen as his foot gets accustomed to playing basketball after three surgeries.

"It's something we have planned for since the beginning of the season," Hudson said.

Hill missed his second game of the season Friday with what is believed to be tendinitis in the ankle. He officially is listed as day-to-day. He could play Sunday against the Heat, but it will be a game-time decision. The injury will continue to be treated with range-of-motion exercises, electric stimulation and ice.

Hill is experiencing inflammation in a tendon in the ankle. Hudson said the tendons are getting used to "increased range of motion."
