Good news Knicks fans.. star forward Antonio McDyess is recovering well and has his sights set on an early return.  Once thought to be out for the season, McDyess believes he is a chance to come back during March some time, but only if he is 100 percent.

"If I'm 100 percent, why not play?" said McDyess. "Not 98 percent, not 99 percent. I want to be confident when I step on the floor that my knee will be 100 percent. I'm hoping and praying."

McDyess said aggressive rehab with heavy weights will begin in one-to-two weeks after he gets another X-ray on his surgically repaired kneecap which was broken during October.

When asked if he fears if he'll never be the same player again, McDyess replied "After two injuries in two years, it's in the back of your mind, but I'm staying positive. I pretty much know the steps and what it's going to take to get back. It's going to be a lot of weight training, a lot of balance, landing after jumping."
