The NBA announced Tuesday that Shawn Kemp of the Orlando Magic has been suspended without pay for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program.

Kemp?s suspension will begin with Tuesday's game between the Orlando Magic and the New Jersey Nets, and will continue until he has resumed full compliance with his treatment program.

The NBA, NBA teams and the NBPA are prohibited from publicly disclosing information regarding the testing or treatment of any NBA player in the program, other than to announce a player?s suspension or dismissal from the League.
