Andy Katz of ESPN.com reports: One of the top High School players in the nation, Charlie Villanueva, will likely enter the draft according to an advisor to Villanueva.

The source told ESPN.com that Villanueva, who orally committed to Illinois, will declare for the draft by May 8.

Villanueva, a 6-9 forward, will only take his name out of the draft if his workouts for NBA teams go poorly.

The advisor said that former Illinois coach Bill Self's decision to leave Illinois had no affect on Villanueva's decision to declare.
