The Denver Nuggets already have offered one Miller millions. Now, they're looking to create another Miller-ionaire.

The Nuggets on Wednesday signed Los Angeles Clippers restricted free-agent point guard Andre Miller to an offer sheet that could be worth more than $55.5 million over six years. A Clippers source told the Los Angeles Times that the team is unlikely to match the offer.

The Nuggets also have scheduled a Friday and Saturday visit to Denver by Indiana unrestricted free-agent center Brad Miller. He figures to command a contract even bigger than Andre Miller's.

"He wouldn't be coming out there if he wasn't interested," said Brad Miller's agent, Mark Bartelstein, whose client is scheduled to visit Utah today.

Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe, at Long Beach State's Summer Pro League, confirmed that Brad Miller would visit Denver. But Vandeweghe said he wants "to keep things quiet."

It would figure the Nuggets and Jazz are battling for another free agent. They both went after Andre Miller, with the Nuggets winning out, and both courted Clippers restricted free-agent swingman Corey Maggette, with the Jazz triumphing.

The agents for Andre Miller and Maggette are using similar tactics to dissuade the Clippers from matching an offer sheet by the July 31 deadline. Contracts for both players are heavily front-loaded.

"We had that idea first," said Andre Miller's agent, Lon Babby, who presented it in negotiations with the Nuggets and Jazz.

Babby went so far Wednesday as to send out a news release detailing his client's offer sheet. It will be worth at least $51 million guaranteed over six years, and incentives of $4.5 million ($750,000 each season) could make the contract worth more than $55.5 million.

Andre Miller will receive a $10 million signing bonus when he inks the deal. He will receive 70 percent of his first-year salary Oct. 15, which is about $4.5 million out of $6.4 million. That means he'll receive $14.5 million before the regular-season opener.
