NBA Commissioner David Stern is not a fan of the pre-game noise and fireworks which have become increasingly common in the NBA, the Associated Press is reporting.

When asked if the entertainment had got out of hand, Stern wasn't hesitant in his response.

"I'm going to get in trouble for this, but I think they're ridiculous. I think the noise, the fire, the smoke is a kind of assault that we should seriously consider reviewing in whether it's really necessary given the quality of our game," Stern said.

Stern's comments come after Cavaliers' forward Ben Wallace was forced from Game 2 because the smoke from the pregame entertainment made him dizzy.  Wallace stayed in the Cavaliers' locker room ahead of Game 3 to avoid a similar reaction.
