Hornets' Coach Byron Scott has the option to buy out the remainder of his contract and go to the highest bidder next season, but according to the Associated Press, the 2007-08 coach of the year wants to remain in New Orleans.

"I expect to be here," Scott said. "In my mind right now I hope to be here unless something crazy happens."

Scott, who makes around $3.5 million a season according to the report, is expected to receive a contract extension from the team which will make him one of the highest paid coaches in the league.
