Matt Harpring plans to discuss his future with Jazz very soon.

He admitted a couple of months ago that he wasn't sure his body could handle another season, something the Deseret News says he told the team privately right after the 2008-09 season ended.

"I haven't talked to the Jazz yet," Harpring said Sunday.

The forward will return to Utah later this week and plans to sit down with the Jazz early next week to make a decision on his NBA future.

There appears to be a strong possibility that he could opt for retirement. He is set to make $6.5 million this season.
