Cavaliers guard Anthony Parker suggested to coach Mike Brown that he defend Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo in Friday night's Game 3.

"Parker suggested he pick up Rondo," Brown said in his press conference following Cleveland's dominant win over Boston.

Rondo had 12 assists at halftime of Game 2, which the Celtics won, but was held to just eight assists in the Game 3 loss.

He finished with 18 points and five rebounds as well, but didn't control the flow of the game as he has many times this season.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers didn't exactly agree with Brown and Parker, saying that the latter spent some time on Rondo in Game 2.

"We'll live with the Anthony Parker matchup on Rajon Rondo," Rivers said.

"It wasn't our offense, no offense to them."
