A day after Mike Brown's firing as head coach of the Cavs, Brian Windhorst of The Plain Dealer reports that the team will not dismiss the assistant coaches who worked under Brown.

Mike Malone, Melvin Hunt and Chris Jent will be retained as the team prepares to transition to a new head coach.

LeBron James has developed a good relationship with the Cavs' assistant coaches, particularly Jent who is James' personal shooting coach.
