Doc Rivers is prepared to manage a locker room full of egos as the Eastern Conference's coach for this weekend's All-Star Game.

The team will feature four Celtics and three members of the Heat. In addition, soon-to-be All-Star teammates Amar'e Stoudemire and Al Horford have engaged in a media feud leading into Wednesday night's Hawks-Knicks game.

"I'm going to let them get it on," Rivers said with a smile prior to Wednesday's game against the Nets. "I think we're going to have everyone in separate seats with them facing their lockers."

Rivers added that there was more animosity between players in the past.

All four of Boston's All-Stars are reserves and Rivers joked that he would be pulling them from the game together just as he'll likely substitute them into the game at the same time.

When asked for his pick in the three-point contest, Rivers issued a predictable answer.

"Ray [Allen] or Paul [Pierce]," he said. "My hope is that it comes down to the two of them."
