Carmelo Anthony finished with with 15 points on 5-for-18 shooting against  the Boston Celtics in Game 1, including 1-for-11 in the second half.

Mike D'Antoni said he has confidence in Anthony to make the proper decision with the game on the line.

"I'm comfortable having Melo on the team and letting Melo decide what he needs to do," D'Antoni said. "I'm not going to nit-pick him. He's the best finisher of games in the last 10 years, if I'm not mistaken, in the NBA. So I'm going to all of a sudden (say) I didn't like the one choice he made? I don't think that's fair to him.

"We talk about end-of-game situations all the time. He knew we needed the two. He knew if he gets doubled he can pass it to somebody. I'm comfortable with him making that play."
