Sioux Falls Skyforce forward Shawn Jones and Rio Grande Valley Vipers’ forward Toure’ Murry have been named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played Monday, Jan. 26 – Sunday, Feb. 1.  This is the first time either player has garnered Performer of the Week honors.

Jones (6’8, 236, Middle Tennessee State) led Sioux Falls to a 3-0 record, averaging 19.0 points on .649 shooting (24-for-37), to go along with 14.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block. He recorded a double-double in all three games and giving him six consecutive games of double-digit points and rebounds. On Jan. 21, he tallied season-highs with 29 points and 20 rebounds in a 121-11 win over the Delaware 87ers.

Murry (6’5, 200, Wichita State) helped Rio Grande Valley to a 2-1 record, averaging 19.0 points on .463 shooting (19-for-41). He connected on 6-of-14 three-point attempts in addition to recording 9.0 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. On Jan. 30, he registered a season-high 24 points, to go along with 10 assists, nine rebounds and three steals in a 133-126 victory over the Texas Legends.
