Trajan Langdon has been named the 2018-19 NBA G League Basketball Executive of the Year.

In his third season as general manager of the Brooklyn Nets’ NBA G League affiliate, Langdon oversaw a team that tied for the NBA G League’s best record (34-16), secured the No. 1 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference and earned the franchise’s first postseason berth.

Before the season, Langdon hired former Brooklyn Nets assistant coach Will Weaver as Long Island’s head coach. Under Weaver, the Nets went 13-1 in their final 14 games, including a 10-game winning streak that was the longest in the NBA G League this season and the longest in franchise history.
