The Minnesota Timberwolves continue to try to orchestrate a four-team trade that would allow them to acquire D'Angelo Russell from the Golden State Warriors.

The Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks are also involved in talks.

Robert Covington would be sent to the Rockets, Clint Capela to the Hawks and potentially two first round picks and an expiring contract would go to the Wolves. The Wolves would use those picks to acquire Russell from the Warriors.
