Adrian Wojnarowski was suspended by ESPN for his email response to Missouri senator Josh Hawley concerning the use of social justice messages on the back of NBA jerseys, reported Ryan Glasspiegel of Outkick.
Wojnarowski later apologized for the email.
It is unknown how long the suspension will last.
"It is inexcusable for anyone working for ESPN to respond in the way Adrian did to Senator Hawley. We are addressing it directly with Adrian and specifics of those conversations will remain internal," released ESPN in a statement on Friday.
