Jayson Tatum scored 60 points, tying a franchise record with Larry Bird, as the Boston Celtics beat the San Antonio Spurs 143-140 in overtime.

With the Celtics trailing by as much as 32 points in the first half, Tatum scored 31 points in the fourth quarter and overtime combined.

"It was a special night. Just being around guys, playing with guys you enjoy being around, and are happy for your success ... we all see the hard work each and every one of us put in every day, so that when someone, myself or whoever it is, has a night like that, just to share that moment with them is special," said Tatum after the game.

Tatum shot 20-37 from the field while adding eight rebounds and five assists.

Tatum then turned the focus back onto the growth of the team.

"I think just the best part was obviously coming back and winning and just seeing everyone contribute ... I think that just kind of shows the growth of our team, just everybody contributing, obviously down 30 points and just figuring out a way to win the game."
