Talen Horton-Tucker will undergo surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb.

Horton-Tucker had averaged 12.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 23.0 minutes over three games in preseason with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Horton-Tucker re-signed with the Lakers on a three-year, $32 million deal.
