Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown left Thursday's game at the Miami Heat due to hamstring tightness. When Brown left in the second half, he had scored 17 points. The Celtics upset the Heat 95-78 in the game.

At this point, Boston is calling Brown's departure "precautionary". The Celtics next play on Saturday at the Dallas Mavericks.

Brown has been Boston's most consistent scorer this season. He's averaging a career-high 25.6 points per game. Brown is also shooting a career-best 49.3% from the field. In addition, he's equaled his career-high three-point shooting at 39.7% on the highest volume of his career.
