The Cleveland Cavaliers announced on Sunday morning that five players were placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols. Jarrett Allen, RJ Nembhard, Lamar Stevens, Denzel Valentine and Dylan Windler have joined Evan Mobley and Isaac Okoro in the protocols.

The absence of these seven players led to the postponement of Cleveland's scheduled game against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

With these seven absences, plus Collin Sexton's long-term injury, Cleveland is expected to sign NBA veterans Justin Anderson and Luke Kornet to 10-day contracts via hardship. Anderson has been playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the G League. Kornet has been with the G League's Maine Celtics.
