Los Angeles Lakers coach Frank Vogel said it's unlikely Kendrick Nunn will debut for the team until March. The team remains optimistic Nunn will play this season, but that he's still weeks away from taking the floor.

Nunn was injured in the Lakers fourth preseason game. He was diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right knee in mid-October. Since then, Nunn has suffered a handful of setbacks in his recovery that have kept him from returning.

Vogel recently said that the plan was for Nunn to be a major part of the Lakers rotation. Vogel said that there were scenarios where Nunn might have joined the starting lineup alongside LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.
