Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray is now 11 months clear of tearing his left ACL. But Murray isn't quite ready for a return to the court yet.

According to two league sources, it's a 50-50 chance Murray plays this season. Another source told The Denver Post that the decision to return lies solely with Murray. He needs to feel confident in his knee and conditioning before returning to game action.

There is a possibility that Murray and teammate Michael Porter Jr., who is recovering from back surgery, may go to the Grand Rapids Gold of the G League for a rehab assignment. Many teams send players down to their G League affiliate to get in 5-on-5 work at practices, which is fairly rare at the NBA level.
