The New York Knicks and the Utah Jazz are at a "stalemate" over the number of unprotected first round picks to include in a Donovan Mitchell trade, sources told Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported earlier on Monday that the Knicks recently offered Evan Fournier, Obi Toppin, and five first-round picks for Donovan. Two of the picks in the proposed deal are unprotected.

The Jazz are reportedly seeking four unprotected first round picks.

Berman adds that Danny Ainge isn't necessarily concerned about the players he'll receive in the deal, though Quentin Grimes is high on his list.
