Andre Drummond posted a Tweet that he has since deleted indicating he would love to play with Draymond Green.

Green will be a restricted free agent in the offseason and was an All-American at Michigan State.

Green is one of the NBA's best stretch forwards and would seemingly be an ideal fit for the Detroit Pistons beside Drummond.

“I want @Money23Green on my team .......” wrote Drummond.

The Detroit Pistons could extend Andre Drummond on a maximum salary contract in the offseason and already view the center as worthy of that deal.

"Andre's a maximum guy," Tom Gores said. "He's a maximum guy. He's not only a great player, he's a great person."

Drummond could sign an extension through 2020 or 2021.

"I'm just here to play basketball. I'll let all of that deal with itself," Drummond said.

Greg Monroe is expected to receive interest from the New York Knicks in free agency.

“We are well aware the Knicks have cap space and we will sit down with them at the appropriate time,’’ David Falk said. “Now is not the appropriate time.’’

A recent report said the two sides are "about as close to a done deal as you can get."

“It’s so silly,’’ Falk said. “It’s factually incorrect and completely unsubstantiated.

“Do I think he’d be a good fit for the Knicks? Absolutely. He’d be a good fit for 30 teams. Can he work in the triangle? Sure. He played the Princeton offense at Georgetown. He could play in the rhombus. He’d be a great fit for any system.’’
