Durant Calls Bosh A 'Fake Tough Guy'

Jan 30, 2011 6:12 PM

Kevin Durant was whistled for a rare technical foul for jawing with Chris Bosh in the first quarter of Oklahoma City's loss to Miami on Sunday.

After the game, Durant continued to talk about Bosh.

"There's a lot of fake tough guys in this league and he's one of them," Durant said when asked about the altercation.

Durant was upset because Bosh got involved in his conversation with a teammate. Bosh says Durant was telling James Harden that next time, he should dunk on Bosh. Bosh had fouled Harden on the previous play to prevent a fast-break layup.

LeBron Plans On Attending CBA Meeting

Jan 28, 2011 12:44 PM

LeBron James will likely attend a meeting during All-Star weekend where the NBA's collective bargaining agreement will be discussed.

"I think it's definitely something that's going to be a huge focus of All-Star weekend," James said before his Miami Heat played the New York Knicks. "Even though the game is huge, I think the labor agreement will be one of the biggest meetings that we have that weekend, so hopefully we can get some things across."

James also attended another meeting last summer in New York.

"I've been there, pretty much I've had an active role, went to a few meetings," James said, adding he stays aware of the issues by speaking with teammate James Jones, a player representative.

Wade's Dark Tinted Goggles Banned By NBA

Jan 28, 2011 2:36 AM

Dwyane Wade has been wearing goggles to help alleviate migraines, but the pair he has worn in practice have been banned by the NBA for game use.

The NBA office checked Wade's goggles on Thursday and they determined that he would receive a competitive advantage by wearing them. The tint of the goggles were too dark where opponents would be unable to see his eyes.

Wade wore a pair of goggle in Miami's loss to the Knicks on Thursday that were similar to those worn by Amar'e Stoudemire.

During his second trip to Madison Square Garden, LeBron James was asked to comment about trade rumors involving Carmelo Anthony coming to the Knicks.

"I'm not a speculation guy. I want to see what happens," James said. "When it happens, then I can make a comment about it. The No. 1 thing is Carmelo being happy. It doesn't matter where that's at."

Anthony's impending free agency and potential trade from the Nuggets has been a dominant part of the conversation in the NBA during the 10-11 season.
