The Utah Jazz are unlikely to trade Gordon Hayward ahead of the deadline.

Hayward will be a restricted free agent in the offseason and figures to receive multiple lucrative offers.

The Jazz prefer to keep their young core together and they have the ability to match any offer to Hayward.

Michael Carter-Williams and Trey Burke have been named the NBA Players of the Month for January.

In 17 games played during the month of January, Carter Williams averaged 16.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists. He scored a career-high 33 points at Cleveland on January 7, becoming the first Sixer rookie to score 30-plus points since Iverson on April 19, 1997.
