Jaren Jackson Jr. will be out indefinitely after suffering a right quad injury.

The Grizzlies plan to be cautious in determining a timetable for his return. They also stand to lose their first-round draft pick to the Celtics this season if it falls outside of the top 8. 

The 19-year-old Jackson is averaging 13.8 points and 4.7 rebounds on the season.

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Bruno Caboclo to a multi-year deal for the remainder of season and the 19-20 season.

Caboclo is coming off a second 10-day contract with the Grizzlies.

Caboclo has averaged averaged 6.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in nine games with the Grizzlies.

Chandler Parsons will return to the Memphis Grizzlies lineup after the All-Star break.

Parsons, who hasn't played since October 22nd, was cleared to return in late December but the Grizzlies have held him out of the lineup.

Parsons has 1-year remaining on his contract after this season. 

The Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies were close to a trade of Marc Gasol, but it was derailed by some last-minute haggling.

The Hornets were prepared to trade a lottery protected first round pick for Gasol.

The Grizzlies eventually traded Gasol to the Toronto Raptors. Memphis acquired Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, C.J. Miles and a 2024 second round pick.

The Memphis Grizzlies ultimately decided against trading Mike Conley despite having several offers.

But the Grizzlies see Conley as a valuable mentor to Jaren Jackson Jr. while the 19-year-old gets groomed as a franchise player.

Conley was expected to be traded after Marc Gasol, Garrett Temple, Shelvin Mack, and JaMychal Green were dealt before the deadline.

Conley has 2-years and $67 million remaining on his contract after this season.

The Grizzlies held talks on Conley with multiple teams.

Memphis is expected to revisit Conley trade talks near the draft.

The Grizzlies, however, traded Marc Gasol to the Toronto Raptors.

The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to trade Shelvin Mack to the Atlanta Hawks for Tyler Dorsey.

Atlanta will waive Mack.

The Toronto Raptors have agreed to a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Marc Gasol. The Raptors will send Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, CJ Miles and a 2024 second round pick.

Gasol has spent his entire career with the Grizzlies.

Gasol has a player option for the 19-20 season.

The Charlotte Hornets also held discussions with the Grizzlies on Gasol.

According to ESPN's Bobby Marks, Gasol waived his $1.29 million trade kicker in the deal.

Mike Conley Jr. is on the trade block and prefers a move to the Eastern Conference.

But the Utah Jazz continue to have interest in trading for Conley.

The Memphis Grizzlies may ultimately decide they would have more options to deal Conley closer to the draft.

The Charlotte Hornets continue to discuss a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Marc Gasol.

Gasol has a player option for 19-20.

The Grizzlies appear to be on the verge of embarking on a rebuild.
