Amar'e Stoudemire Signs Deal In Chinese Basketball Association

Amar'e Stoudemire has signed with the Fujian Sturgeons in the Chinese Basketball Association.

Stoudemire worked out for the team a week ago, and recently joined the team for a media day photo shoot.

Stoudemire last played in the NBA in 2016.

Kevin Durant said that he wants to finish out his career in Barcelona and experience EuroLeague basketball.

“I really want to play overseas my last year. At Barcelona. I would, one of these days. That’s the second-best league in the world. EuroLeague games look fun," said Durant on Serge Ibaka's How Hungry Are You?

Nikola Mirotic signed with Barcelona over this past offseason. 

“Like, I don’t know for a fact if I’ll do it, but it would be cool to experience it,” added Durant.

NBL Game Between RJ Hampton, LaMelo Ball Draws 1.9 Million Facebook Views

Thursday night's game between the SKY Sport New Zealand Breakers and Illawarra Hawks became the most watched NBL game in league history with 1.9 million Facebook streams.

The game featured RJ Hampton and LaMelo Ball.

There was an estimated 5 million views on highlight packages shared through social media.

“It reinforces the NBL’s status as the second best domestic basketball league in the world and our commitment to make the game available to more people to watch when and how they choose across different platforms as we continue to grow our audience across Australia and globally," added NBL executive chairman Larry Kestelman.

LaMelo Ball's NBL Debut Breaks League Record With 1 Million Streams

1 million people streamed the opening game between the Illawarra Hawks and Brisbane Bullets on Facebook, the NBL announced.

The game, which was the most watched in NBL history, featured the debut of LaMelo Ball.

A video of Ball's crossover has over 2.5 million views on Twitter.

The NBL's Instagram has doubled its following since last season. Engagements on posts have also increased 250% on Facebook and 340% on Twitter.

David Blatt Parts Ways With Olympiakos

David Blatt and Olympiakos have parted ways, according to Ennio Terrasi Borghesan of Sportando.

Blatt became the coach of Olympiakos last year.

“After a long and respectful talk between the team owners and me, we decided to part ways for the best interest of both sides. The time I spent in Greece with Olympiacos had substance and meaning. I feel grateful for the people and the family I found in here," released Blatt in a statement.
