Zion Williamson has received an invited from USA Basketball to join the 10-man select team that will compete alongside the 18-main training camp roster in Las Vegas in early August.

Williamson will still have the opportunity to earn a spot on the full 12-man roster USA Basketball brings to China for the FIBA World Cup.

Team USA will compete in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with a roster that is expected to include more All-NBA level players.

Williamson is expected to be the top overall selection in this month's draft by the New Orleans Pelicans.
