Jan 9, 2022 6:05 PM

The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Gary Clark to a Two-Way contract. Clark was recently waived by the Pelicans, after they had to get back into roster compliance. Clark was signed as a replacement while Didi Louzada was on the Suspended List.

Clark has appeared in eight contests for the Pelicans this season. He's averaged 3.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

To make room for Clark on a Two-Way deal, New Orleans waived Jared Harper. Harper played just 10.5 minutes over two games for the Pelicans.

Nuggets To Sign Davon Reed To Two-Way Contract

Jan 9, 2022 2:50 PM

The Denver Nuggets will sign wing Davon Reed to a Two-Way contract. Reed has impressed Denver while on three successive 10-Day hardship contracts.

The Nuggets were facing potentially losing Reed after his most recent 10-Day deal expired. With players returning from the health and safety protocols, and a handful of hopeful injury returns, Denver would eventually be unable to keep Reed long-term without a standard or Two-Way deal.

In 12 games with the Nuggets, Reed has averaged 4.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per contest. Denver head coach Michael Malone has praised Reed's confidence and preparedness during his time with the team.

Petr Cornelie will be waived from his Two-Way deal to open the spot for Reed. Cornelie played 38 minutes over 13 games while with the Nuggets this season.
