Keith Brumbaugh, a high school forward who averaged 30 points per game, said Wednesday he is making himself available for the NBA draft.

"I just wanted to test the waters to see if I am ready, see if any teams are interested," Brumbaugh told Houston television station KRIV. Brumbaugh, from Deland, Fla., is in Houston to work with former NBA head coach John Lucas.

Brumbaugh has not hired an agent and has not signed with any college program.

He scored 2,299 points during his high school career. He averaged 12 rebounds and five assists as a senior.
