Philadelphia 76ers President Billy King announced today that the Sixers have traded forward Alan Henderson to the Utah Jazz for the rights to exchange second round draft picks in the 2007 NBA Draft. In addition the Jazz will receive cash considerations from the Sixers.

"This move gives us increased flexibility and provides us with additional options on draft day," said King.

The Jazz are expected to waive Henderson.

A 6-foot-9 forward, Henderson has averaged 7.9 points and 5.0 rebounds in 648 career games (220 starts) with four teams: Atlanta (1995-2004), Dallas (2004-05), Cleveland (2005-06) and Philadelphia (2006-07).  Playing in his 12th NBA season, Henderson is averaging 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 34 games (5 starts).
