Bobcats coach Larry Brown is reportedly high on Davidson's Stephen Curry.

Charlotte has the 12th overall pick, but may be willing to trade up to get Curry, according to DraftExpress.com.

The Knicks are known to like Curry, and the Wizards, Timberwolves and Warriors could show interest as well.

It was reported on Friday that Bobcats majority owner Bob Johnson is looking to sell his stake in the team, but they won't leave Charlotte.

Charlotte agreed in 2002 to build the team's $265 million arena, and part of the contract was that the Bobcats would operate the facility and keep most of the revenue.

City Attorney Mac McCarley answered a few questions for the Charlotte Observer regarding the possibilty of a relocation.

"No," McCarley said of whether the club could leave.

"The city may seek an injunction to force the team to honor the commitment to play here, or can enforce liquidated damages of $200 million in the first five years (2005-2010), $150 million in years five to 10, and a declining balance going from $85 million in year 11 down to $7 million in year 25."

According to McCarley, the Charlotte's agreement with the Bobcats runs through the 2029-30 season.

According to two sources, Michael Jordan will seriously look into buying a controlling interest in the Bobcats.

It was reported on Friday that majority owner Bob Johnson was looking to sell his stake in the team. Jordan has a minority interest in the franchise.

Jordan has said in the past that he'd like to be the majority owner, and the pair of anonymous sources claim he still has the desire.

Last month, Johnson told the News & Observer that he wanted to sell his stake to minority owner Michael Jordan. However, since then NBA sources claim that Johnson has begun looking for other buyers.

A source close to Johnson said, "It's true, he's committed to selling the team," adding, "He's lost passion" for owning it.
