The Pistons have only one game between Jan. 12th and 20th, while the Knicks don't have another game on their schedule between Jan. 13 and 21st.
The Raptors and Nets played in London in March 2011.

Greg Monroe has volunteered to help mentor Andre Drummond despite being just 22.
"He's going to need help from us, from the coaching staff, from the front office," Monroe said. "So I think, personally, obviously, I was in a similar position, and he's going to need my help a whole lot. So I have to take the responsibility and just try to mentor him and help him any way I can."
Monroe has exhibited great maturity during his NBA career, even during his rookie season in which the Pistons were in turmoil with former coach John Kuester.
The National Basketball Association and the NBA Development League, the official minor league of the NBA, announced the affiliation system for the 2012-13 season. An all-time high eleven NBA teams will have single NBA D-League affiliates including first-year partnerships between the Boston Celtics and Maine Red Claws and the Portland Trail Blazers and Idaho Stampede.

Devin Searcy led the 76ers with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Brandon Knight had 19 points and 14 assists in the Pistons' 93-79 win over the Celtics in Summer League action on Thursday.
Austin Daye chipped in 15 points, eight rebounds and five blocks, while Khris Middleton had 12 points. Andre Drummond had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Kris Joseph and JaJuan Johnson led Boston with 17 points apiece.
Jared Sullinger had 11 points and seven rebounds.
The Detroit Pistons announced that the club has signed second round draft selection Kim English to a contract.
English, who was selected with the 44th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, played four seasons at Missouri and averaged 14.1 points (.521 FG), 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists as a senior. He scored in double figures in 26-of-35 games a year ago, including seven games with 20-plus points.
Kyle Singler has signed a three-year deal with the Pistons.
Singler played in Spain last season for both Lucentum Alicante and Real Madrid.
The Thunder beat Detroit by a final score of 83-72 on Wednesday.
Lazar Hayward, Reggie Jackson and Garrett Temple finished with 15 points apiece. Cole Aldrich had 10 points and seven rebounds.
