Dyson Daniels of the G League Ignite has entered the 2022 NBA Draft as an Early Entry candidate. Daniels played one season for the Ignite after coming to the United States from Australia.

In 14 games with the Ignite, Daniels averaged 11.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.9 blocks. The six-foot-six wing shot nearly 45% from the floor.

Daniels projects as a top-10 pick. Before joining the Ignite, Daniels was a graduate of the NBA Global Academy in his native Australia.

Long Island Nets guard Craig Randall II has been named the 2021-22 NBA G League Most Improved Player.

In his first NBA G League season, Randall (6-4, 185, Tennessee-Martin) averaged 26.7 points, 6.2 assists and 5.5 rebounds in 27 regular-season games.  He finished second in the voting for the 2021-22 Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year Award.  

Randall earned a spot on the Nets’ roster in October 2021 after participating in a local tryout.  He was named the NBA G League Player of the Month for games played in February, becoming the first local tryout player to earn Player of the Month honors. 

The Brooklyn Nets have waived James Johnson.

Johnson appeared in 62 games for the Nets this season, averaging 4.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.2 minutes.

Brooklyn is creating a roster spot to convert Kessler Edwards from a Two-Way to a standard contract in order to make him eligible for the playoffs.

The Atlanta Hawks have converted the contract of guard Skylar Mays from a two-way to a standard NBA contract.

Mays has appeared in 27 games (five starts) for the Hawks this season, averaging 3.0 points in 8.1 minutes (.500 FG%, .889 FT%). In eight starts with the College Park Skyhawks of the NBA G League this season, he averaged 18.0 points, 4.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 33.6 minutes (.456 FG%, .341 3FG%, .947 FT%).

Drafted in the second round (50th overall) by the Hawks in the 2020 NBA Draft, Mays played in 33 games as a rookie with Atlanta in 2020-21, putting up 3.8 points and 1.1 rebounds in 8.2 minutes (.449 FG%, .350 3FG%, .880 FT%).

The Indiana Pacers have signed Nate Hinton and Gabe York to two-way contracts. 

Hinton has averaged 18.1 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 37.2 minutes over 33 G League games this season with Fort Wayne.

York has averaged 21.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.5 steals in 37.1 minutes over 34 games with Fort Wayne. 

Trevelin Queen has been named G League MVP for the 21-22 season.

Queen, a two-way player with the Houston Rockets, averaged 25.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 3.3 steals in 19 games.

Queen (6-6, 190, New Mexico State) received an NBA Call-Up when he signed his two-way contract with the Rockets on Dec. 18, 2021, and has appeared in 10 games for Houston this season.  He is the third Rio Grande Valley Vipers player to win the Kia NBA G League MVP award, joining Mike Harris (2009-10) and Andrew Goudelock (2012-13).
