Bucks Trade Tony Snell, 30th Pick In 2019 Draft To Pistons For Jon Leuer

The Milwaukee Bucks are trading Tony Snell and the 30th pick in the 2019 draft to the Detroit Pistons for Jon Leuer, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski.

In addition to shedding Snell's $12 million contract for the 2020-21 season, the Bucks also save $4 million this year. Leuer has one year remaining on his contract at just over $9.5 million. 

Bobby Marks of ESPN also adds that the Bucks could create up to $14 million in cap space this summer.

The Pistons now hold the 15th and 30th pick in the upcoming draft.

The New Orleans Pelicans will receive an unprotected pick in 2024 from the Los Angeles Lakers as part of the Anthony Davis trade package, according to Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

The Pelicans will receive a haul that includes the No. 4 pick in the 2019 draft, a top-8 protected pick in 2021 that becomes unprotected in 2022, an unprotected swap in 2023, an unprotected first-round pick in 2024 that the Pelicans can defer until 2025.

The Pelicans are expected to have ongoing conversations surrounding the 4th pick in this draft, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Pelicans Agree To Trade Anthony Davis To Lakers

The New Orleans Pelicans have reached an agreement to trade Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Pelicans would receive a package including Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks, including the No. 4 pick in the 2019 draft. The trade could also contain pick swaps.

If both sides agree to push back the trade call until July 30th, the Lakers will have $32.5 million in cap spae in free agency. The Pelicans would see their cap space increase from $15 million to $19 million.
