The Phoenix Suns have claimed two-way player Theo Maledon off waivers. Maledon was waived by the Charlotte Hornets at the end of last week.

Phoenix has had an open two-way roster spot all season. Charlotte waived Maledon to add Nathan Mensah for some additional frontcourt depth.

In 13 NBA games this season, Maledon has averaged 4.2 points and 2.2 assists in 15.4 minutes per game. With several backcourt injuries last season, Maledon appeared in 44 NBA games for the Hornets. He averaged 6.7 points and 3.5 assists before re-signing on a second two-way deal with Charlotte over the summer.

Orlando Robinson's contract became guaranteed for $850,000 on Friday, reported Keith Smith of Spotrac.

Robinson has appeared in five games this season, averaging 5.4 points and 3.8 rebounds.

Robinson went undrafted during the 2022 draft and joined the team on a two-way deal later in the season.
