The Denver Nuggets have claimed Shavlik Randolph off waivers, a league source tells RealGM.

Randolph was waived this week by the Boston Celtics to create a roster spot for Chris Babb.

The Boston Celtics have signed guard/forward Chris Babb to a multi-year contact.

The Celtics also have waived forward Shavlik Randolph and assigned Babb to the Maine Red Claws.

Babb, a 6’5” guard/forward, has appeared in 45 matchups for the Red Claws this season and averaged 15.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists, while shooting .375 from beyond the arc, in 34.7 minutes per game.

The Los Angeles Lakers have waived Steve Nash and have signed Jabari Brown to a multi-year contract.

Nash announced his retirement last month.
