Jarin Stevenson Commits To Alabama, Will Reclassify Into 2023 Class

Five-star prospect Jarin Stevenson committed to Alabama on Wednesday.

Stevenson will reclassify into the 2023 class.

"I like their NBA-style offense. Coach [Nate] Oats is really into analytics. He makes team decisions based on percentages. I like that. Numbers don't lie," said Stevenson.

Stevenson chose Alabama over North Carolina and Virginia.

Bob Huggins Resigns As West Virginia Coach

Bob Huggins has resigned as West Virginia's men's basketball coach in the wake of his arrest on Friday night for allegedly driving under the influence.

Huggins announced his resignation in a statement released on Saturday night in which he said "my recent actions do not represent the values of the University or the leadership expected in this role ... I have let all of you -- and myself -- down."

A source told ESPN's Jeff Borzello that Huggins informed his players of his impending resignation in a team meeting on Saturday.

Kentucky freshman Aaron Bradshaw suffered a fractured foot and could miss the start of the 2023-24 season, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Bradshaw is a five-star recruit and a projected top pick for next year's draft.

Bradshaw is expected to make a full recovery.

Paulius Murauskas Commits To Arizona

Paulius Murauskas signed a letter of intent with the Arizona Wildcats on Wednesday, reported Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

The 6-foot-9 forward from Lithuania is one of the top European prospects for his class.

"My decision to go to the NCAA is all about improvement. Especially physical improvement to be able to compete in high-intensity games. Personally, I think that this will be the best place for my further development as a person and as a basketball player," Murauskas told ESPN. 

Murauskas is the seventh international player on the Wildcats roster for next season.

Simeon Wilcher Commits to St. John's

Simeon Wilcher committed to St. John's on Monday, making him the highest-ranked recruit for Rick Pitino thus far.

Wilcher is currently ranked No. 28 in the ESPN 100.

Wilcher decommitted from UNC last week.

Pitino has now added 12 players to the roster since getting named head coach in March.

USA Beats Canada To Win U16 Americas Championship; Cameron Boozer Named MVP

The 2023 USA Men's U16 National Team won the gold medal for the eighth-straight time at the FIBA Men's U16 Americas Championship. The Americans, bolstering a 6-0 record at the event, defeated Canada 118-36 on Sunday in Mexico.

Cameron Boozer was named the MVP of the 2023 FIBA Men's U16 Americas Championship.

Boozer joins seven other Americans who have earned the honor - Bradley Beal (2009), Jabari Parker (2011), Malik Newman (2013), Gary Trent Jr. (2015), Vernon Carey Jr. (2017), Chris Livingston (2019) and Robert Dillingham (2021).

Top-30 senior prospect Simeon Wilcher decommitted from North Carolina on Tuesday.

The news comes after top-10 guard Elliot Cadeau announced that he was going to reclassify and play for UNC next season.

Wilcher chose the Tar Heels over Nebraska and Overtime Elite. St. John's is now also expected to be a candidate for Wilcher.
