Sep 15, 2011 2:55 AM

Langston Morris-Walker enjoyed his visit to the Oregon State campus over the weekend. On Monday morning this week, he decided he wanted to return.

The Berkeley High senior gave his oral commitment Monday to play for the Beavers.

"It's always been my dream to play in the Pac-12," Morris-Walker said. "The chance came, and I had to jump on it." Morris-Walker chose Oregon State over UC Santa Barbara, Colorado and UTEP.

"There's so many great people, it's such a great town," Morris-Walker said of Corvallis, Ore. "The coaching staff and players are such high-character people."

He spoke highly of Beavers coach Craig Robinson, the brother-in-law of President Barack Obama: "He's a good person I wanted to be around the next four years."
