Nate Britt Commits To North Carolina

Point guard Nate Britt has committed to North Carolina.

Britt is the 15th ranked member of the class of 2013.

Britt attends Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC. He also considered Arizona, Georgetown and Maryland, amongst others.

North Carolina already was the only player with a Top-25 commitment in 2013 in Isaiah Hicks and now have a second.

Matt Jones, currently the 21st ranked player of the class of 2013, has committed to Duke.

Jones announced the decision via his Twitter account.

Jones has also been considering North Carolina, Colorado, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

Upshaw is considered the eighth best center in the class of 2012 and 43rd overall.

Harris is one of the top-10 recruits in the class of 2012 and the best shooting guard. Harris is 6-foot-4, with excellent strength and athleticism.

Geno Thorpe has committed to Patrick Chambers and Penn State.

Thorpe, a junior point guard, also considered Pitt and Wisconsin.

"They're looking to turn the program and that's what I'm about," Thorpe said. "He's a guard-tempo kind of guy. He's very up-tempo and he likes his guards, especially his point guards. He always talked to me about attitude and always having that gut feeling about what you want to do in life. I want to play at Penn State."

Canyon Barry Joins Bobby Cremins At College Of Charleseton

Canyon Barry, youngest son of Rick Barry, will play for Bobby Cremins at College of Charleston.

“I’ll probably give coach Cremins some more gray hairs,” Canyon said Monday evening. “I’m definitely excited to play for him.”

Cremins coached Canyon's half-brothers Jon and Drew while at Georgia Tech.

Cremins won the recruiting battle over Miami and Davidson.

“Bobby saw what happened with two of my boys, saw the way they played and really felt Canyon would be a great player for him,” Rick said. “He really went after him.
