Cade Cunningham has announced his commitment to Oklahoma State.
Cunningham is ESPN's projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft class. Cunningham is a 6'7 point guard.
Oklahoma State hasn't had a five-star recruit since Marcus Smart in 2012.
"To be honest, I was this close to picking a different school, but blood is always thicker than water. Go Pokes," Cunningham said in his announcement posted to Instagram.
Oklahoma Sate hired Cunningham's brother, Cannen, back in June.
Mark Williams, a top-5 center in the 2020 class, officially committed to Duke over Michigan and UCLA.
Williams is ranked as the No. 30 player in the ESPN 100.
"He is a true center who is active, mobile and plays with a self-motivated motor. He impacts the transition game with his ability to run, change directions, and make chase-down blocks or lob dunks. In the half-court set, his defensive presence stands out as a shot-blocker and rebounder. Offensively, he will produce right away as a lob catcher and a drop-off finisher. His low-post, back-to-the-basket game is blossoming, as is his short face-up ability," said ESPN's Paul Biancardi of Williams' game.
