Daniel Theis Undergoes Surgery On Left Knee

Daniel Theis underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his left knee on Tuesday, including removal of a loose body.

The surgery was performed by Celtics Team Physician Dr. Tony Schena at New England Baptist Hospital.

Recovery is not expected to affect Theis’s ability to fully participate in training camp.

Nikola Mirotic Tests Positive For COVID-19

Nikola Mirotic announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Barcelona's Euroleague game against Valencia Basket.

Mirotic said that he is "well and following doctors' instructions."

Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius and assistant coach Darius Maskoliunas both tested positive for COVID-19 last month.

Mirotic signed with Barcelona last offseason before extending his contract through the 2024/25 season.

Dragic is averaging 19.9 points, 4.6 assists and 4.0 rebounds in the playoffs.

Davis initially suffered the injury in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against the Nuggets.

A source described the bruise as "painful" but added that "he can tolerate it."

Davis finished Game 5 with 28 points and 12 rebounds.

Kristaps Porzingis Undergoes Surgery On Torn Meniscus

Kristaps Porzingis has undergone surgery for a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee.

Porzingis suffered the injury in Game 1 of the Dallas Mavericks' first round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Porzingis will begin rehab immediately and there is no timetable for when he will resume basketball activities.

Isaiah Thomas Underwent Resurfacing Surgery On Hip In May

Isaiah Thomas underwent resurfacing surgery on his right hip in May and will be ready for the start of the 20-21 season.

Thomas has dealt with hip issues since 2017.

Thomas has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angels Lakers, Denver Nuggets and Washington Wizards since he was a two-time All-Star with the Boston Celtics. 

"It's like night and day for me," Thomas told ESPN. "There's no more pain. I've got my full range of motion. For three years, I was trying to play the best players in the world on one leg. I needed help from my kids to put my socks on in the morning.

"Now, I can lift weights. I can squat low. I can work out twice a day. I'm able to cut and move and stop, able to cut and go. I feel like I'm 31 years old again. And now, I have scientific evidence to show that."
