Delaware 87ers guard Sean Kilpatrick has been named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Monday, Nov. 23 – Sunday, Nov. 29. 

The honor is the first for Kilpatrick, who also becomes the first 87er to earn the award. 

Kilpatrick averaged 36.5 points on 58 percent shooting (24-for-43) from the field last week. He rounded out his week averaging 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two games, including a road victory over the Raptors 905 in Mississauga, Ontario. He connected on 11 of his 19 attempts (58 percent) from behind the arc and was a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line.  

For the season, Kilpatrick is averaging 29.2 points, good for second best in the NBA D-League, to go with 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 37.2 minutes over five games.  His 48 percent shooting from three-point territory tops the NBA D-League among players who have taken at least 40 threes.  

The Oklahoma City Thunder has assigned forwards Josh Huestis and Mitch McGary to the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA Development League.

Huestis has appeared in four games (all starts) for the Blue this season, averaging 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.00 blocks in 31.3 minutes per game. Huestis has not appeared in a game for the Thunder this year.

McGary has played in six games for the Thunder this season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game. During four assignments with the Blue last season, McGary averaged 16.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.88 steals and 1.13 blocks in 24.3 minutes per game.

The Westchester Knicks have re-acquired Jimmer Fredette.

Fredette was originally acquired by the Westchester Knicks in the 2015 NBA D-League Draft (first round, second overall). 

Fredette became the second Call-Up of the 2015-16 NBA Development League season when he was signed by the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 10, 2015 under the NBA’s injury hardship exception. He appeared in 13 minutes over four games for New Orleans before being waived on Nov. 19, 2015.

The Reno Bighorns have acquired David Stockton.

Stockton, a 5-11, 165-pound guard, averaged 20.1 points (.461 FG%, .398 3pt%, .824 FT%), 4.2 rebounds, 9.4 assists, 2.5 steals and 30.5 minutes per game in 43 contests (38 starts) for the Bighorns during the 2014-15 season. Stockton recorded two triple-doubles during the 2014-15 season and ranked 11th in scoring, third in assists and second in steals per game among D-League leaders

Most recently, Stockton joined the Sacramento Kings for preseason, where he totaled four points (1-7 FG, 0-1 3pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 16 minutes off the bench in three preseason contests.

To create a roster spot for Stockton, the Bighorns have waived Marshall Henderson.

The Phoenix Suns are in the process of calling up Bryce Cotton from the Austin Spurs of the D-League.

Cotton was with the Utah Jazz in the preseason but didn't make their regular season roster.

Cotton is averaging 22.3 points, 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in the D-League this season.

The Miami Heat have assigned forward/center Jarnell Stokes to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Stokes has appeared in two NBA games this season totaling two rebounds in four minutes of action. He was acquired by the Heat, along with Beno Udrih, from Memphis in exchange for Mario Chalmers and James Ennis earlier this season on November 10. Last season, Stokes appeared in 23 NBA Development League games (14 starts) with the Iowa Energy and averaged 15.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 32.0 minutes while shooting 61.7 percent from the field.

The Toronto Raptors announced Tuesday they have assigned guard Delon Wright to Raptors 905, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Raptors. Wright is expected to be in the lineup Wednesday when Raptors 905 hosts the Idaho Stampede at Hershey Centre at 7:30 p.m.

Wright has appeared in four games with the Raptors this season, totaling four rebounds in 10 minutes of action. Wright was selected 20th overall by Toronto in the 2015 NBA Draft.

Wright will continue to be included on the Raptors’ roster and will remain on the team’s inactive list.

DaJuan Summers of the Westchester Knicks today was named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Thursday, Nov. 12, through Sunday, Nov. 22.

Summers (6-8, 240, Georgetown) averaged 25.3 points on 54.4 shooting (31-for-57), 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals to lead Westchester to a 4-0 start to the season. On Nov. 14, he tallied 30 points on 13-of-24 shooting, to go along with 11 rebounds and two assists in an 83-79 victory over the Erie BayHawks. He posted another double-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and four steals, in a 107-94 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Nov. 20.

Other top performers considered include Austin’s Bryce Cotton, Bakersfield’s C.J. Wilcox, Delaware’s Sean Kilpatrick, Erie’s Melvin Ejim, Fort Wayne’s Rakeem Christmas, Idaho’s Brandon Fields, Iowa’s Cartier Martin, Los Angeles’ Manny Harris, Maine’s Jordan Mickey, Raptors 905’s Scott Suggs, Rio Grande Valley’s Raphiael Putney, Santa Cruz’s Elliot Williams and Sioux Falls’ Gregg Whittington.

The Boston Celtics have recalled guard Terry Rozier and guard/forward James Young from the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League.

Terry Rozier tallied 16 points on 5-10 (.500) shooting from the field, three rebounds and a game-high eight assists in 31 minutes in the Red Claws’ 112-93 victory over the Raptors 905 on November 20. Rozier has played in three matchups for Maine this season and is averaging 23.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.0 steal in 33.8 minutes per game.

Also in the win over the Raptors 905, James Young recorded a double-double with a game-high 26 points, a game-high 15 rebounds, four assists and two steals in 31 minutes. Young is averaging 20.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.8 steals in 32.7 minutes per game over four contests with Maine this season.

The Dallas Mavericks have assigned guard Justin Anderson and center Salah Mejri to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

Anderson (6-6, 228) is averaging 3.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 7.4 minutes in 10 games (one start) for Dallas this season. The rookie guard scored a career-high 11 points (4-4 FGs, 1-1 3FGs, 2-2 FTs) in 15 minutes at New Orleans on Nov. 10.

The Mavericks selected Anderson with the 21st overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft.

Mejri (7-2, 235) has seen action in five games for the Mavericks this year and is averaging 1.0 rebound in 3.9 minutes per game.
