The Clippers waived forward Marqus Blakely on Monday.

In two preseason games, Blakely tallied 4.0 points and 9.0 minutes per game.

The Clippers roster now stands at 14 players.

The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on forward/center Brian Skinner, General Manager John Hammond announced Monday.

Skinner signed as a free agent on September 29.

He appeared in all eight of the team's exhibition games and averaged 1.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11.6 minutes.

A veteran of 12 NBA seasons (including 2003-04 and 2006-07 in Milwaukee), Skinner holds averages of 4.8 points and 4.7 rebounds in 605 career games.

Milwaukee's roster now stands at 15 players.

The Portland Trail Blazers have waived forward Jeff Pendergraph, it was announced Monday by General Manager Rich Cho.

"We want to thank Jeff for his hard work and professionalism since he arrived here in Portland, and we wish him a fast and successful recovery from his injury," said Cho. "We sometimes have to make difficult decisions in this business, and this was certainly one of them."

Pendergraph suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in an Oct. 7 preseason game at Utah and is scheduled to undergo surgery as a result.

Portland's roster now stands at 14 players.

The Pacers set their roster for the 2010-11 season on Monday by releasing rookie big man Magnum Rolle.

Rolle would have earned a guaranteed contract of $510,000 if he had made the roster.

Indiana traded the 57th pick and cash to Oklahoma City to acquire Rolle, the 51st pick, on draft night.

The Heat have trimmed their roster to the league maximum of 15 players ahead of Tuesday's season opener against the Celtics.

Miami released guards Da'Sean Butler and Patrick Beverley.

Butler was one of the team's three second-round picks this past June and he had been recovering from knee surgery after tearing his ACL while playing with West Virginia in the NCAA tournament.

Beverley, a second-round pick in 2009, spent last season playing in Greece after the Heat acquired him in a draft-night trade.

The Hornets waived point guard Curtis Jerrells on Sunday.

New Orleans acquired Jerrells in a trade with San Antonio last week.

Because of his release, the Hornets won't have to send a future second-round pick to the Spurs.

The move comes after the team acquired Jerryd Bayless from the Trail Blazers.

The Hornets now have the league-maximum of 15 players on their roster.

New York Knicks president of basketball operations Donnie Walsh announced Sunday that the team has waived Patrick Ewing, Jr.

Ewing averaged 1.8 points and 6.0 minutes over four preseason games.

New York's roster stands at 15.

The Nets have requested waivers on center Brian Zoubek, Nets GM Billy King announced.  Zoubek was signed to the roster on July 1.

Zoubek did not appear in the preseason, missing four games with back pain and four games due to coach's decision.

The Pacers have waived center Lance Allred, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star.

Indiana currently has 16 players on their roster, one more than the maximum allowed for the regular season.

The Bobcats have waived Darius Miles and Matt Rogers, trimming their roster down to 15 players.

Charlotte coach Larry Brown claims that the team could still make some changes despite the fact that they are currently right at the league-maximum of 15 players.

Brown is concerned about the health of reserve point guards Shaun Livingston and Sherron Collins.
