Clippers Waive Trey Thompkins

The Los Angeles Clippers have waived Trey Thompkins.

Thompkins was the 37th overall pick by the Clippers out of Georgia in 2011.

Thompkins did not appear in a game this season due to a left knee bone bruise.

Raja Bell Waived By Jazz

Raja Bell has been waived by the Utah Jazz.

Bell and the Jazz were unable to agree to a buyout before the Mar. 1 deadline, making him ineligible for the playoffs.

Bell hasn't played this season following a fallout with Tyrone Corbin.

Acquired from the Golden State Warriors on February 21, Tyler appeared in one game for the Hawks (March 4 at Denver), grabbing three rebounds in five minutes of action.

Brooks agreed to a buyout last week with the Sacramento Kings.

Brooks is now a free agent and is working on finalizing a deal with the Houston Rockets.

Brooks Discussing Deal With Rockets Following Buyout From Kings

The Sacramento Kings have agreed to a buyout with Aaron Brooks.

Brooks will be eligible for the playoffs.

“I’d like to thank the great city of Sacramento, the Sacramento Kings Organization, coaching staff and most of all the fans that supported this leg of my journey,” Brooks said in a pair of tweets. “I enjoyed my time with the Kings and wish them success in the future.” 

Sources tell Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! that Brooks will likely sign with the Rockets after clearing waivers.
