Terrel Harris is expected to be released by the Portland Trail Blazers ahead of training camp, according to a team source.

Harris was suspended for five games after violating the NBA's anti-drug policy.

Harris is listed on the Blazers' roster as of now.

Quentin Richardson has been waived by the Toronto Raptors.

Richardson was acquired by the Raptors via sign-and-trade from the Knicks in the July deal involving Andrea Bargnani.

Fab Melo has been waived by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Melo was recently acquired from the Boston Celtics via trade.

Melo was a first round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

The Phoenix Suns gained $5.65 million of cap space for any potential in-season trades by making the Caron Butler deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

They appear likely to use that money to make an expected costly waiver of Michael Beasley more palatable.

Beasley would be owed $9 million of guaranteed salary over the next two seasons and his dead money would not be as big of an issue.

The Philadelphia 76ers have waived Justin Holiday.

Holiday was called up from the D-League last season, in part because he is the brother of Jrue Holiday. Holiday figured to not be in the 76ers' plans after Jrue Holiday was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Holiday averaged 4.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in nine games with the 76ers.

DeShawn Stevenson has cleared waivers to become an unrestricted free agent.

Stevenson was released by the Atlanta Hawks last week.

Stevenson wrote on Twitter upon his release about possibly signing with the Miami Heat.

Al Harrington has cleared waivers and is now an unrestricted free agent.

Harrington was waived last week by the Orlando Magic.

The Atlanta Hawks have waived DeShawn Stevenson to clear a roster spot for DeMarre Carroll.

Carroll agreed to terms with the Hawks nearly a month ago on a two-year, $5 million contract.

Al Harrington was placed on waivers by the Orlando Magic on Friday.

Harrington came to the Magic in the Dwight Howard trade and averaged 5.1 points in just 10 games.

The Boston Celtics have waived Shavlik Randolph.

Randolph appeared in 16 games last season with the Celtics.
